My Container

I thought that I would share a picture of my beautiful container.  Everything that I own is inside of that thing....  and it is on it's way to Africa. It is bigger than it appears in the picture. When I first saw it I thought there is no way that everything that I own will fit in there. It didn't.  I sold or gave away quite a few things. Pay it forward people! Customs will have to process it before my things are mine again, I had to make a detailed list with all of the boxes numbered.  They will open one or two boxes and if the list and the box match all is well, if not they will tear my container apart. I had no prior knowledge of this, I didn't find out until the deed was done and the container was en route.  I gave my daughter that job....  My teenage daughter who has never met a shortcut that she didn't like. In hindsight I should have checked the list, but as you would imagine I was going crazy trying to make sure that everything else was taken care of. I guess that I could look on the bright side and thank those custom officials for unpacking for me. Yay!!!! I just pray that nothing is broken, honestly I will probably be like a child at Christmas.

First are the Worst

So....this is my first time publishing anything for anyone to read. Don't judge me!!!!!! We all talk about doing it but few of us do. Like dieting or running, the intention is there (dormant) but there. My family and I are about to embark on the adventure of a lifetime. We packed up everything that we own put it in a container and shipped it off to South Africa. Why you ask? We have the privilege of being missionaries there!!!! God is so incredibly awesome!!!!! I am so excited!!  So that explains why I am awake at 1:30 a.m, that and heart burn.  I will keep you updated as our journey begins. Thanks for the idea Hannah!!!
